How are you going to take cupcake out with the handle? Cut it I guess.

    That was really beautiful!

  • john146only says:

I like that she is doing something fun w/ the actual cupcakes themselves…. :)

I loved the color contrast of green and pink.

It is nice to see someone do a tutorial on this. Cricut has so many capabilities, & I have like 30 cartridges, but some of the features I don’t use to the fullest capablility. I don’t always know what I am doing. I have been S’Bing for 5 in a half years, have many albums of work, but I don’t think that I have mastered anything. Having a love for learning is good!

Pink and green i love it.

  • rodakowski says:

Using brads for the handle would also let you move it down so you can get the cupcake out. I know she was doing this on the fly, so the idea is all good. Great thought for the finger-hole underneath!

  • dee0129 says:

sorry…but that was a sad sad ribbon knot..lol

  • wendykidd says:

I love jprdlr’s suggestion of punching a hole in what will be the bottom so you can push the cupcake back out! Also adore the green frosting color you got, and the spatula dancing! Keep the videos coming!

  • momoof2 says:

very sweet!!! which one of the kiddos got that cupcake??!!!
    TFS.

  • jprdlr21674 says:

Hers a couple of thoughts…. maybe freeze the cupcake for a few minutes before putting it in…. also I thought maybe a hole in the bottom for the finger to push the cupcake up so you can grab it…. or maybe set the cupcake on a type of lifter like with a turkey so you can just lift it out. Just some thoughts so the maybe the holder wouldn’t have to be destroyed… :) <3

  • galecrafts says:

Hey Robyn, cute tutorial today… I am thinking though, you would have to rip that pretty box to shreds to get to the yummy cupcake! It’s an adorable idea, but I sure wouldn’t want to watch someone rip it apart. Love Carrie Underwood too… (:

I’m loving the sweet treats cart but I was disappointed at how many of the cuts are multiples.
if you ever need to do a lot of the cupcakes or a cake get the food coloring gels from Michael’s. they’re AWESOME! they don’t water down your icing like the grocery store kind. TFS!
