Cricut Episode 166 – Cutting Material using Forever Young

Hi Everyone! Here is a video tutorial that Karlee and I made on how to cut material using your Cricut machine. You can use the smaller Cricut or the Cricut Expression. It turned out to be pretty simple. For more information please visit me at….. www.mypinkstamper.com

Robyn, you are awesome! A little hint with using Wonder Under-I saw that your iron stuck to the material. The glue will also get on the ironing board cover. I make a paper sandwich. I put a scrap piece of paper down first on the ironing board then the piece you are cutting out, then another piece of scrap paper. I ruined my ironing board cover with all the glue from Wonder Under. Not too mention the glue on the iron. Hope this helps!

Omg, I came here to learn to cut fabric with my Cricut. I shouldn’t have been eating a granola bar cause I almost choked on it watching you guys! It was HILARIOUS! I love following you. I think you may have to write a disclaimer at the beginning of your vids to not eat anything to chunky during the viewing of your funnier segments, lol Keep up the great videos!

Cute! Just a quick reminder, pressing is an up and down motion. Ironing is back and forth.

  • nandv1114 says:

no ={ you’ll need to connect them yourself in Cricut Design Studio. It’s not automatic.

  • lakeviewquiltn says:

Just a tip….save your iron from getting sticky….cut the fabric a bit larger than the wonder under…..OR use an applique pressing sheet…..save your iron!!!!

TFS all your videos! Crafting lives on!! We can all tell how much work you put into this extremely addicting hobby :-)

Can you please add an addendum or correction to infant/fabric video stating NOT to attach ANYTHING to infant/baby clothes, please….

Love all of the ideas. You explain things so clearly.
Just be careful with buttons on a baby onesie, if it came off it would be a choaking hazard.

Dora, I had the same problem! I bought some chipboard from custom crops graffix 12×12 and I bought it because someone had posted a review about how they use it on their Cricut and it cuts great! Well I get mine, and it doesn’t cut all the way through! I even multicut 15 times! I did find some thinner chipboard at Joann’s it had black, white and the kraft and the white cuts the first time around! I had also purchased the deep cut blade too with my chipboards! HTH!

  • DoraTouch says:

Hey Robyn I have a question for u , I tried cutting chipboard many time I press multicut + I use the deepcuttig blade n it never works it never fully cuts trough do u have any tips ?

  • keithey77 says:

How do you get your vids in hd?

  • keithey77 says:

@surf1ncybersis Watch all her vids, even the old ones! They really do help, and she teaches a lot about the Cricut.

i love the take outs..you guys are so fun! thanks for the tutorial..and i was just wondering instead of buying a new mat you could spray stuff on it to get it tacky again?? that’s cool! oh yeah how come the Cricut lcd screen is flickering..does that happen when u use it alot or does that only show up in videos for some reason..i kinda dont want mine to start doing that
