A not-so-quick review of the ProvoCraft Cricut Expression, and four cartridges. Cricut Ticket Campaign (win a cruise!): www.Cricut.com More info and projects made with the cartridges: www.kwernerdesign.com
If you like images more than fonts (which is the same with me) I would reccomend Everday Paper Dolls or Paper Doll Dress-Up. These are fun cartridges that allow you to make fun paper dolls. I love these two cartridges and would love if you woujld review them!:)
I just got my Cricut today & was real excited. However…I didn’t get the ” Plantin Schoolbook” cartridge like i was supposed to get. The bigger problem tho is it isn’t cutting right. It’s barely leaving an impression & ONE tiny part got cut. I’m very frustrated, don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I watched the video that came with it & still don’t know why it isn’t cutting right
SCAL is Sure Cuts a Lot. It’s a software you can buy that allows you to cut files from your computer. You might want to google it and look into what you’ll need to do to get it all hooked up. Unfortunately, I can’t answer all of your questions here. Hope that helps!
How do you use fonts from your computer with the Cricut?? I’m fairly new with mine and LOVE it!! My favorite cartridge is Wild Card that cuts unique shaped card bases and matching envelopes!! What isSCAL and how does it work??
thanks
i have had my Cricut for almost 2 yrs. I like the fonts as I am a scrapbooker. I have used both fonts & images for cards. Since my Cricut is always set up in craftroom it is always being used. Your videos are so easy to follow and you present yourself so well.
I realize you just got this, but I’d love to see some reviews of the Cricut machine in action. I’ve never used one before and so would like to see how it works. I love the detail in the video! Also good to know you can use your own fonts. I am a graphic designer so I have tons. Looking forward to seeing more videos about this. Thanks!
Love this video. Very explanitory, better than the infomercials. I got the expression a little over a year ago and really love it for school projects too! Enjoy playing around with it and I look forward to seeing it implemented into future videos.
Thanks for the review! Always love your vids..whatever they may be. You have such a positive energy about you! I have the Cricut but don’t get to use it that often..I have space issues..being a military wife, hopefully we will move soon and to a bigger place..lol .
I loved it personally… She’s human… not a robotic review that has been scripted.
Thanks Kristina- You rock!
Ummm… UTubePowerUser… If you can’t say something nice about someone, don’t say anything at all.
Nice video- I’m looking forward to seeing some of your wonderful creations.
I’m curious- are any of these image cutters able to cut fabric?? It’d be awesome to be able to cut letters and pictures to applique kids’ clothing or baby quilts.
“The smaller cartridges” is a solution cartridge .. being half the cost does not explain it completely.. they don’t contain the full amount of images or fonts as the full cartridge does.. nor does it have a box or manual.. hence it being called a solution cartridge.. and they didn’t come out first.. just something different they’ve come up with…
You lucky girl!! I love my Cricut! If you want to depart with any of the carts. I will be glad to relieve you of them. Hmmmnn, seriously. ) Will be checking out you blog to see your projects. Cheers!

that spatula scrapes or pulls the sticky off the mas…also it smears it. The hook tool is fabulous

If you are learning this Cricut

YouTube Partners are allowed to have videos longer than 10 minutes. I try to keep my videos shorter than that, but I just couldn’t with one.
Please I hope you didn’t take offense.. I wasn’t trying to “set you straight”.. Just didn’t want any misinformation ..
mssoftbrn- Thanks for setting me straight! I appreciate it. And you are right, being half the cost does not explain it completely.
