I got my Cricut
Expression on Ebay from Custom Crops. I paid just under $250 including shipping and I was able to choose which 2 cartridges I wanted. I’ve found it easier to order supplies from them too, rather than running around town trying to find them on sale. Hobby Lobby isn’t very convenient for me, and although Michael’s has sales on the cartridges, they almost never have ones I want. Custom Crops sells a lot of them for $30.
Custom Crops is a scrapbook store in the Chicago area, and I get things from them all the time now. They ship in a couple days, and I’ve never been dissatisfied. I’ve been using them for about 2 years and a friend has used them longer.
You could also try HSN. They had a pretty good deal a week or so ago when I was home sick one day.
I would never buy the Cricut
from e-bay. I know of several friends who have bought electric scrapbooking tools form ebay and all have had trouble with them.
Wal Mart has the cheapest price in the store.
I agree with daeve930 I have heard of a lot of people that bought from them and are happy with them you can also go to ohmycrafts.com sometime they have good sales. I love both of mine I also have the gypsy. Oh HSN also has them and they take payments.
I bought mine off ebay, Cricut
has a one year anyway.

I don’t know where you live but if you were in Seattle I can get you a new one for 180 My close friend sells Cricuts, gypsies, cartridges, mats so on. she is a distributor for Cricut
I got mine off of Amazon, but I know you can get good deals through eBay and Craigslist too. Just be careful that you’re dealing with a reputable dealer (ie – the seller has positive feedback or will let you see the machine before you buy) or that the site/service you purchase through offers some level of buyer protection (eBay and Amazon both do).
I’ve always had better luck getting deals online than in the stores near me, but you might have better luck in your area.
