how would you know what depth to set when working with diffrent thickness of chipboard???

you MUST use the deep cut housing for the deep cut blade
Yes, you can use the regular blade housing. The deep cut blades fit.

Thanks for the video. Do you need the housing for the deep blade or can you just buy the blades and use the same housing that you already have?
The grey board is much much thicker. Did you buy the package that has the grey, white and black? Try the white, and cut at 3 x’s.
I just realized that I cut the Grey board it seems to be much thicker Is that the problem Have you tried to cut that color yet?
I just put in my deep cut blade but it wont cut through the AC moore chipborad even on 6 with multicut Any suggestions?
