    Thanks for the tips! I’ve seen this idea but now I can learn to wait a day AND not put the protective plastic on until then. Sorry about your mat, but you’ve helped the rest of us out.

    I think the “Goo Gone” idea is great. I’ll try that to clean the mat before I restore the next one. Thanks!

    I used Goo gone that I found at the dollar store to clean my mat before using the 2-way glue. It seems to have worked out fine so far.

    I have found that spray adhesive works really well. I use Tack 1000.
