Hi there really nice video I have a question I hope u can answer I want to buy a Cricut but don’t know wish one or what are the different on each machines wich one would u recommend
Hi, The rollers that hold the mat in the machine are not adjustable so you can only use a 12×12 mat. Sorry. Hugs, C
Can you use a 12 x 8 cutting mat on the circut expression 2…it just wiggles all around when i try to use it and doesnt cut… can you set the blade to start at a certain point for this size mat..
Yes you can use both. I never was able to use Design Studio because I have a Mac…but there is also the new Cricut Craftroom program that is free and available on Cricut’s site. Hugs, Christina
Excellent videos, and easy to understand. I have a couple of questions. Can you use the Design Studio with this Expression? Also, can you use the Juke box? Thank you
Thank you for this series of tutorials. I just got the Expression Cricut 2 and this was very helpful. TFS! [email protected]
Thank you so much! I just got my first Cricut and it is and E2…was just about to send it back because I was so frustrated! Then I found you!
So glad you are doing this series !
The load a new mat is available on the Gypsy you just have to add a Layer the white plus sign in the small purple box at the top of screen. I am creating a Tutorial on the Gypsy soon to show this. Love the series thanks for sharing. Cathie
If you want to cut two images in different colors, can you put both colors on the same mat or do you need a separate mat for each one?
Thank you for sharing these Christina. 🙂
Thanks for all of these videos. They are so helpful!
The E2 doesn’t weld, have the ability to move images anywhere on the mat or upload your cartridges to it. Since the E2 is 100% upgradable you never know what they may add as an upgrade.
When I do fit to page on Cricut expression and review the size it’s going to cut at and then manually set the layers the corresponding size the layers are slightly off. My sister has an expression and has this same problem. We end up only using fit to page to see how big we can make it and then turn that feature off and manually set the size to what Cricut would have cut the image at with fit to page turned on. How do your layers turn out using the fit to page option with the CE2?
How much different is the E2 n the gypsy?
i don’t have this machine but you are awesome Christina!
Thanks Christina! YOu ROck! Love this series!
I tried a cut on my E2 I’m waiting for this weekend to really play with it and will know what to do. TFS
Great tutorial C, I love all your videos and how clear you explain. I’m looking forward to more videos of the E2 so when I get it I will be a pro thanks to you!
