Question by Kari Noel: Help with my cricut mini?!?
Okay I recently bought a Cricut mini and haven’t had a lot of time to try to figure it out so I need help.. first off, I can’t get it to cut right… I line things up on the screen where I want them on the cutting mat and it completely cuts off the mat so I can’t get that to work and also can I buy some kind of software online to use different cartridges? Or download cartridges straight to the program it came with or do I have to buy the cartridges to go w them???? Someone please explain this thing to me

You should have received a getting started guide with your Cricut mini, but if you’ve read that, and didn’t find it useful..or didn’t receive it, you can still get help.
If you continue to have problems, and especially if you believe the machine may be malfunctioning, contact customer support, their contact page is here: http://www.Cricut.com/home/support/contact-us
Provocraft would much rather have a new customer contact them for help, than to lose that customer through frustration, so don’t be shy.
There are lots of really Marvelous online forums that focus on Cricut, and other electronic cutting machines, and a wealth of artsy, craftsy blogs that focus on machine cutting and paper craft.
Try doing a google search for Cricut forums.
You can buy layout design software, and cartridges from provocraft’s online store, and there are free downloads there as well. You’ll have to check the website to get details on that though.
Hang in there, and good luck.
