In fact, you can just turn your old boring but reliable one into something really wonderful that will make your home or your room look even more amazing. You just need some glitter, some colored cardboard, some glue, and a pair of scissors to do the task. Just think what kind of design you would like your basket to have and start working on it. Then start gluing everything together and let it dry. When that is done, your basket will surely be something that you may want to look at with glee.

My sister-in-law Maureen loves to work with her hands – working with bits and pieces and crafting it into something that becomes a work of art. She has got the Midas touch – anything that her hands touch comes out not to be gold but a masterpiece. When you visit her house, you can see the difference that it has from other houses. You will know that there is personal touch that depicts of her love and affection in everything that she does. When asked what is her secret, she will just give you that mystic smile. Eventually, she revealed the secret of how she does all of it. She cannot do it alone without the help of a machine that does the magic for her. Just like a fairy godmother that with only a wave of her magic wand, the object that she desires becomes visible – and in this case, the change she wants happens. This machine that Maureen is talking about is very affordable and portable. You can carry it anywhere you like it to be. This machine works along with the cartridge that has hundreds of designs in an almost endless variety of sizes. It is a cutting tool that makes cutting shapes and letters easier. A simple cookie jar can become a wonderfully attractive container that can be used as a home décor too. Maureen gave me the instructions on how to make such an adorable cookie jar. The first thing to do is to ask yourself what you want your cookie jar to look like. Delve into the far rooms of your mind and find if there are any ideas hidden there to use on your cookie jar. Then, gather the materials needed for the project. You will most probably need the usual craft materials like vinyl, paper, some glue, a paint brush, several buttons, ribbons, scotch tape, a glue gun, and the Cricut machine. Do not forget the cookie jar, of course. Third, cut the paper to fit on the outside portion of the jar. Glue it there and let it dry. While you are waiting for it to dry, start cutting out the shapes – it can be flowers or animals or whatever pops out from your head. Use the machine to make things easier. You can now start pasting what you have cut to the jar. You can also add the buttons if you choose to. This is the time to add everything that you want to add. If you want to use ribbons or other items, go ahead and do so. When you are done gluing everything on, do not forget to let it dry. Maureen bought that machine from a Cricut sale. Simple yet elegant, she found a gem and she loves to use her hands with the help of Cricut for home decors.
