I am researching to purchase a Cricut and I am wondering if I can buy a cartridge and use it on ANY machine? I have a couple friends that have Cricuts and I am hoping to be able to pass the cartridges around to each other. Any answers would be apprieciated!!

I have a Cricut machine, but I’d like to try the Cake cartridges without buying the Cricut Cake machine. Thanks!

I own the Cricut Personal Cutter and I am thinking about upgrading to the Expression. I know that the cartridges are linked somehow to you, and I wasn’t sure if they were linked to your PC account or your actual machine.
