What To Use As Letters When You Are Doing Scrapbooking
With Scrapbooking becoming more and more popular, looking at your lettering is becoming more important. Because photos are easier to come by, more and more people are looking for fun ways to save their precious memories. People always feel they want to do more with their memories than keeping it in a box. So, many turn to Scrapbooking.
Once you start, one of the aspects that you are faced with is what to use for lettering. You can simply try and do the writing in normal handwriting. This can be completely satisfactory if you have a good handwriting and you are able to embellish it a little.
When you make use of different colors and even cut out letters from different places, writing in simple ordinary letters can be quite successful. It is not very time consuming and if you only want to present your photos and other memorabilia in an attractive way, that is quite good enough.
The second option you have when it comes to letters and shapes is to make use of stickers. You can get very beautiful kits these days with stickers and papers to do your Scrapbooking with. This is the easy option for a person that does not want to spend too much time on the process.
How to organize a scrapbooking room?
I have been trying to plan out a scrapbooking room, all of my stuff at the moment is just thrown about in the room that is suppose to be my new scrapbooking room. I don’t really know where to start. I have a card Table that I am going to use as my work space. It is a small room and it is the only table I have so it will have to do. I have scrapbooked on my coffee table for the longest time so a card table will actually be nice. I would like to know what has worked for others as far as organizing. I have a ton of paper, how do you organize your paper? A lot of it was given to me by my aunt but I also have sevral books of paper that I have gotten too, i seriously have a stack of paper about 12 inches high. As well as smaller decrative papers for accents and I have a ton of stickers and a Cricut machine that I got for Christmas last year that I have yet to be able to use because of space. I just have a lot of stuff and really have no idea where to start on organizing it. Any tips you have would be helpful. I don’t have a ton of money but I can buy a little bit at a time. Do you reccomend having things in drawers or on sheves, what would be the best way?
Actually I have a sturdy filing cabinet that I plan on using for the Cricut,The filing cabinet is full of bills and such. I don’t plan on putting everything on the Card Table it is just going to be my flat work space, with a few storage containers, like small drawers added towards the back of it.
Looking for white markers to use for scrapbooking?
I have a Cricut machine and I make little critters and animals and I need something to help me make the eyes look better. I need a white marker that is safe for scrapbooking and that will show up on dark paper as white. Where can I find one of these? Beside whiteout because that isn’t safe to use but I am looking for something that has the same effect.
I know I can go to a craft store, I am more of an online shopper and the only pens I can find are paint pens that have oil in them, which is a no no when it comes to scrapbooking.
