Question by jensen.fan: Can a Cricut be used to create letter stencils?
I’m not interested in scrapbooking, but I would like to have a way to make stencils. I’m not very good at cutting out letters and sometimes need them at different sizes than I can get at craft stores.

Yes you could use the negative of the letter cut out for your stencil. they Cricut can cut out heavy cardstock

the main reason i am intererested in getting a Cricut is to make stencils for wall painting. also perhaps to cut some vinyl letter for wall verses. what do i all need…just the Cricut expression? can i use my own stencil paper (mylar)? can i make my own designs? im confused! are there fonts already included or do i have to buy something else that offers fonts ?

im looking to cut my own words for stenciling on walls, and i am wondering about if any of you have ever made stencils with the Cricut( vs. just die cut shapes for scrapbooking)
