Menopause Treatments You Might Not Have Tried Yet
Every woman deals with menopause differently. Some women choose medicine. Others deal with the symptoms herbally. Other women try to combat their menopause symptoms with changes in their lifestyles. There are even some women who do their best to pretend that they are not going through menopause and they don’t do anything for their symptoms. The good news is that women no longer have to suffer through menopause (unless they really want to). There are scores of menopause treatments available to those who want or need them. Unfortunately there is no single absolute menopause treatment because every woman has a different menopause experience. That being said, there are lots of popular treatments that are being used all over the place.
Thirty minutes of moderate exercise are needed every day. Even if you don’t want to believe it, menopause can be treated with regular exercise. Aerobic exercise is also a great fighter against aging diseases like cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis. Exercise also elevates your mood and can help you sleep better at night. It’s hard to give in to menopause symptoms when endorphins are helping you feel good. Exercise also helps you relieve your stress! Believe it or not, staying sexually active really is an effective menopause treatment. Heads up guys! Hallelujah! Regular sexual activity can help cut down on vaginal dryness and even help a woman deal with any discomfort issues that might arise during sex. Women who experience decreased libido and allow it to keep them from having sex will experience a higher degree of discomfort and dryness. Maintaining a healthy sexual activity level will decrease these symptoms. Now, should this discomfort become unbearable you should consult your medical professional for further advice and treatment.
